There’s nothing like an alcohol-filled pool party on a random Friday night with friends. ILY Purok!

Made this back in 2005! Words from Narda’s Suwerte
Found a colored sheet of Blankets. :) Thought you’d want to see it.
“Sometimes, upon waking, the residual dream can be more appealing than reality, and one is reluctant to give it up.”

Just finished reading Craig Thompson’s Blankets the other day. Possibly one of the most striking piece of literature I’ve read in a while since it was highly relatable and there were parts that I felt like it was “film-able” and simply because it was simple and beautiful in its own unique way. It was true.
“Her lips tarried at mine. Baiting each other with the warmth of our breath, barely grazing, detouring, then connecting.”
To obtain a bird’s eye is to turn a blizzard to a breeze.
Of Gym Work Outs & Volunteer Work
The other day I was picking on my friend because she paid an expensive 1-year gym membership fee & did not use it. That was over 30k pesos that went nowhere. I know a lot of people like that. People who buy expensive running shoes, treadmills & other fitness stuff only to let them gather dust. Imagine how much money goes into these things.
Which brings me to the image above, which was made for Habitat For Humanity many years ago. It’ an idea I have in mind, but do not know exactly how to execute. I want all the money that goes into gyms to go to organizations like Habitat For Humanity. Habitat accepts donations in cash to help build homes for poor folks. Or you can volunteer to actually build the home with your own hands. If a an expert comes up with the benefits of manual labor, then I’m sure many will help out. After all construction workers have toned abs & massive biceps. It’s a win win win situation for everyone. Say you are a yuppie who wants to lose weight, you donate your money to Habitat, you get a “trainor” who guides you. You are not just losing weight for vanity, it’s also for a good cause. Now, for what ever reason, you quit your program, the “gym fee” you paid is still going to be used by the organization to do good things! No guilt! No wasted money! : )
I hope smarter people get to read this & come up with a way to make this, or something simmilar to this come to life : )
Editing for hours and hours and days and days straight, along with indecisive clients and nitpicky agency peeps.
Getting by with my “BASTUSAN NA! WORK MODE!” and “Disney Classics” playlists, this crazy mask and a positive vibe! :D
